What leads to favoring your guitar of choice? An emotional connection.
My “go to” guitar has always been a Gibson SG in the Vintage Cherry Red. It is perfect for a specific set up that is conducive to the 60s era, that I enjoy so much. The equation is the Standard Gibson SG with the Vox AC15 Amp with no pedals. Perfect sound with a nostalgic feeling of the first British Invasion.

"A great deal of what has made me road-tested comes from the amount of time I’ve been out there doing it" -Eric Steckel
“Road-tested and seasoned from 25 years on stage, Eric Steckel is a blues veteran at only 34 years of age. His big break came about at the age of 12 when Blues legend John Mayall invited Eric on tour with his band The Bluesbreakers and hired Eric to play lead guitar on his 2005 album. Since then, Eric has launched a successful solo career releasing 12 albums, developing signature guitars, pickups, & amps and touring in over 30 countries.

"We absolutely love touring, but it definitely does take a toll on us." - When Rivers Meet
BY Edward Schooley
This is the first tour where it has been an album tour, previously we already had records out. So, this time it was great to be able to tour a whole brand new album, and then we selected some of our back catalogue that we’d not played out before and a few favorites to throw in as well. So, it feels amazing, even though we’ve only been releasing music properly since 2019 to have such a big back catalogue to pull from.

"When you love music and performing as much as I do I guess having fun on stage just kinda happens naturally." - Bella Rayne
BY Edward Schooley
I think one of the biggest challenges facing artists, especially younger ones, is finding the confidence to really put yourself out there. It’s really nerve wracking to just throw yourself out into the public eye, because not everyone is gonna love you. Some people can be mean and unsupportive, so you must try to ignore negativity and just keep being yourself, even though it’s hard sometimes. I can’t speak for all artists, but life for me has been pretty good so far. I am only 15 but I have experienced a lot of amazing opportunities, thanks to my supportive family, friends, other musicians.

Eric Gales is a blues firebrand. Throughout it all, he continued to reinvigorate the art form with personal revelation in his lyrics and bold stylistic twists in his guitar playing and songwriting.

"The journey was like I needed to eat, and slide came in and I just kept working to refine it." - Keb Mo
BY Brian Quinn
About being at A&M Records, what was interesting to me is that there were session players who, if they weren't doing anything, would come and play demos. So, that was always good because I got to work with some great drummers, bass players, and keyboard players, who were working on top sessions and would sometimes come in and play with the demo guys. So, it was great. That time at A&M Records and Irving Almo music when I was on the demo squad, as we used to call it, that was my college.

Mick Mars takes fans to “The Other Side of Mars” with his new solo album!"
BY Eric Dahl
Chris Collier was introduced to me by Ray Luzier of Korn and Chris does a lot of the Korn albums.  For recording I used Michael Wagener, who actually started on “Too Fast for Love.”  I met him through Dokken.  But the guy that recorded that record didn’t record it very well, so I called in Michael.  And I’ve worked with him for over 4 decades now.
