You can’t have great vocals with your band without the right microphones to project them to your audience and fans.  Shure microphones have been an industry standard since 1925 and are one of the most popular vocal and instrument reproduction instruments for the right reasons. They recently expanded their horizons even more with the new Nexadyne 8/C and Nexadyne 8/S handheld microphones.

The Nexadyne 8/C is a Cardioid Dynamic Vocal Mic and contains the Shure Revonic dual-engine transducer.  And what does that mean?  It means that with Revonic two transducers are used to achieve the best sound and it rejects unwanted ambient sounds that can filter in. Nexadyne 8/S Super-cardioid Dynamic Vocal mic is a brighter sounding microphone (in my opinion) and would better serve softer voices and larger venues.  It also includes the Revonic technology and has acoustic signal processing.  When we plugged them and tested them for Guitar Thrills magazine, both Nexadyne 8 microphones delivered superior clarity and detail in sound reproduction and less ambient sound penetrated.

This feature is of huge benefit for our sound person mixing the sound and for you as a performer to not have sound bleed over from other instruments and voices in your band or setting.  The Nexadyne 8/C was warm and full robust for vocal delivery.  Testing the Shure Nexadyne 8/C and 8/S I was surprised by the clear and pure sound with both microphones.  The Nexadyne mics are priced at $299 each and include a foam lined Shure zippered case and mic holder.  If you are performing with a louder Rock band or in a bigger venue, definitely consider trying out the new Shure Nexadyne 8/C and 8/S, they are powerful music tools. The Shure designed Revonic dual-engine transducer will help your vocals cut through and over the top of the other instruments in your band – even the drummer!
